I prefer a rope tied onto an old steering wheel out of an old ford capri turbo.

Proline leather grip (LG) is the best by far IMO.

Brian, is that the leather wrap wheel or the plastic? I use one out of a 68 vw bug and its the hard plastic so my hands keep slipping off when I go for the raley!!! Get your a$$ up here to Sac and ride with us!!

Derek, Brian is far too busy perfecting the "Power Turn" or adding to his towable collection to come ride with us!

I don't mind my carbon handle at all. I have had it for 3+ years I believe.... It has some chips out of the paint, but I don't care a bit. Only issue with carbon is the fact that it is HARD and you have to be a bit careful when throwing it around ect. I am 100% happy with it, though when I get another handle.....I don't know if I would be willing to pay a premium for another carbon handle(this one was a gift).

Jeff, I checked out the Proline leather grip online...looks pretty sick. Do you have to get it with the extra T handle? I prefer the handle and lead rope only.}

Anyone know if there's any difference between the 2005 and 2006 lg other than color. I found a great deal on a previous year lg at: http://www.boatersoutlet.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=2707 Just not sure if they made any changes to the handle?

I'm with Brian but try a lowrider chain steering wheel, very nice feel and a good grip!

Go with the 06 if you can because some of the earlier 05's had a defect in them where the leather came seperated from the padding. CWB warrantied mine no problem but If I were you I'd try and save myself the hassle. Its a great handle though I absolutely LOVE mine!

Supreme Rob - If I actually knew who you were that would be pretty funny. Unfortunately, seeing as I don't, I think your trolling for companionship on the wrong site. Nice boat. Happy trolling!

Supreme Rob and LeBeau, enough, you both had to much to drink that weekend, but you cant deny what happened, you both enjoyed not wearing those darn restricting boardshorts ! Rob, are you guys up for Bullards Bar on Sept 8-10th I am getting up there on Thursday afternoon to get a spot for the weekend, and LeBeau make sure to bring the leopard thongs for everybody.

I like the carbon fiber handles. A buddy of mine has the Accurate one. And it has been beaten up pretty bad and is still works fine. Plus they're light.

yeah i've used the 06 murray... we had one for two weeks and the grip fell apart... i think this is just a preview of what is to come for hyperlite... my '06 premier is splitting at the ABS wall (never touched a slider)... and it took them 6 months to ship my '06 murray bindings b/c the foot plate mold was messed up on my size... the company is going downhill quick... when is the ronix line supposed to be out?

TCH Collin Wright is a pretty sweet handle. However, I did like the Proline militia before it broke.

I have a parks carbon handle and i like it a lot I did have the catalist but that one tore after about five times out with it. carbon handles are a personal pref. I like them if they feel good to you and you want to spent the money go for it. the nice thing about them is they don't give at all so some times if you land a trick and just have the corner you know its going to keep its form. but once again all pref. bottom line pick one you like and get it.......

Love my Proline LG1 - however, the thing is an anchor. I sprayed some of that expanding foam stuff from Home Depot in it this evening (per a buddies suggestion) and we'll see if it stops sinking now. The grip is super tacky...

I have the new Parks Carbon and the Harf. I actually like the triangle of the Harf. It fits in your knuckles nicely. The Parks seems to tear up my fragile hands.

Straight Line Carbon. I have two of them. Got their Limited Edition model recently off of Ebay for 70 bucks. Float great. Paint will chip if you are not careful though. I love it.
