IF you had a choice... Which ride would you pick? Centurion-Cyclone, Supra-Launch 20 SSV, or Calabria-Pro V2... Unfortunately were having some difficulty making a decision. Help! Thanks in advance...

I like the Supra, but all of those boats seem nice. I would test out all of them and see which one you like the best.

I haven't ever been or even seen a Calabria (Florida boy here) so my choices are between the other two, and I would choose the Supra over the Centurion... but that's just my opinion.

The Calabria ProV doesn't have a cooler, don't know about the ProV2, but you may want to check that.

Wow Supra owners say a Supra Calabria owners say Calabria And since I am a Centurion owner I say Centurion This is one of those things you will need to decide. They are all 3 GREAT products. Follow your gut when you walk into the dealer which one makes you The other thing to take into consideration the dealer. For instance my dealer has been in business for over 50 years and has sold & serviced inboards since 1985

well you have 3 different length of boats there, so not really apples to apples. this might help http://www.waterskimag.com/boat_inspector/index.html?manufacture=1&boat=1 If you are lookin at the Calabria-Pro V2 then you might want to look at the Centurion Enzo, also a 23 footer. Have fun lookin

Enzo surfer, The Calabria-Pro V2 is closer to 20 feet. It's the Calabria-Pro V that is 23 feet. However the V2 is still a very wide and roomy boat. if your thinking about taking out a ton of people on a regular basis i would lean towards the V2. If your main priority is the wake, I would lean towards the Supra.

sry, my mistake. The Waterski mag link above had them both listed at 23.6 We were also looking at the Centurion Cyclone C4 and decided to go with the bigger boat. More room, better wake, better ride, glad we did. (Message edited by enzosurfer on June 26, 2006)

I hate these threads since there are so many other factors much more important than the make of a boat. Supra builds a nice product that I would feel comfortable recommending to a friend. But that does not mean that there is anything wrong with a Calabria or Centurion.

I just went through this process and I don't think there is a bad boat out there. But that just makes it harder to decide. So my advice would be to get which one you like best and can still afford.

Calabria-best boat for the buck and for the money no boat compares. A better boat to wakesurf as well. The pro v is a better choice in my opinion than the v2 but I am biased in this. Centurian-too expensive for the quality IMO. Supra is a great boat as well but I think that I would go with the MC X1 before the supra. MC X1-best wake (wakeboard) for the money IMO.

A buddy of mine just purchaced a new Calbira and its a very nice boat. My Brothers have a Centurion, to me the Centurian`s are like a KIA, a cheep boat with very poor fit & finish. The Calbira is a nice boat but so is the Supra. Keep away from the Centrian. Look at the resale of all the boats also, the Centurian`s are very low.

I would agree that Centrian is one pile of Phillip Van Every (boss210) does bring up a good point about resale check nada.com if you want the facts you will find the Centurions are doing very well in resale. Now the Centrian is another thing there resale is so bad you won't even find them on nada

Centurion will have the best wake with the least amount of weight (higher dispacement of the deeper-vee hull) and the best surf wake hands-down. Calabria ballast kills everyone. Supra has a great-shaped wake and a great-looking fit-and-finish. All are equally high quality boats. Have an '03 Centurion Avalanche, and have had zero problems with it whatsoever. Overall, have been extremely impressed (although, I agree that they are priced a little high. The build quality is up to par, but the amenities are lacking)

I think that the Calabria wake is nice, but if the tanks are empty, the boat rides farely rough because of the flat bottom. The boat aesthetically is beautiful, but that is the best part about the boat. They are extremely shallow, knees in the chest kinda thing. To get into the driver seat, there is actually a step down. I ran the proshop next to the biggest centurion dealer in the world and all I can say is those cal custom boats are made with no quality control. The moomba and the supra are very reliable, and the best bang for the buck, and the supra wake is sick.

I'm a Calabria owner and they do have a cooler Robb Davis it's in the floor at the back seat. Holds 24 pack and two bags of ice. However the drain plug had to be changed out because it was made to allow any water to flow through instead of staying in there to keep the beer cold. Cyclone Driver, this was my choice when I went between the Supra and the Calabria. I had actually owned a Supra Comp a few years back when I tournament h20 skiied and really loved it. My weekend boating buddy has an Supra 05 21V mine is much wider but you have to put bags in for surfing so we surf behind his if we decide to do so! So it all boils down to your preference and pocket book, the supra will run you a few more 1000 which I used to put one heck of a sound system in mine. I like the Calabria and plan on buying a new one next year!

Ken, I dont' know what year your boat is, but I have been in the 06 Calabria ProV a few times. There is no cooler. I'm not trying to fight, just making an observation. In the 06, there is storage everywhere (Very nice) though.

Mine's an 05 pro V and a friend has an 06 pro v it's hidden but it's there. If you go to http://www.waterskimag.com/boat_inspector/index.html?manufacture=1&boat=1 double click features the construction pic shows the top off the cooler and the main cabin barely shows it covered up just below the back seat centered. Again it's all flush so all you'll see is the resessed metal knob. I don't want to fight either just an observation ;0).

I own a Centurion & love it, doesn't mean I wouldn't change brands in the future but my boat has been rock solid. I also love the fact that the Centurion has an awesome rough water ride. My lake can get nasty with 4 foot swells, I can't imagine another wakeboat doing better than my Centurion. It will probably be the main reason I stick with Centurion when I replace my boat. On the downside they could be a little nicer looking & have a bit more bling. The interiors are still too basic for my tastes.

I agree Carl, I was amazed at the rollers and chop I went thru with no problem. As for the interior, I have the bling bling package (holy crap, can't believe I said that outloud) and it dresses it up a little. Also, did anyone notice that sarandoug changed their name to Cyclone Driver? lol
