I am stuck. I put a knew HU replacing an old and very large radio in my boat. The old stereo was much larger than the new one. Any ideas on how to close the gap and make something look nice. I was thinking something with a clear plexi face around the new HU and put some LED's behind for some mood lighting.

Any ideas or pics of similiar situations... wish I could just afford a new clarion to cover it all up...

JB check out these guys for Refurb units. I've ordered a bunch XMD1 and XMD3 and never had any problems. Good people too!

Just make an ABS adapter plate.

Mike, what do you mean? Im not following what that is. Could you explain or show.
Thanks, and Ryan i am checking into those, my present HU has an Aux input for the Ipod, looking for similiar. thanks guys

XMD3 has an AUX in and you can buy and interface for it as well

JB, any local stereo shop should have a piece of ABS they'll probably give you.
