Lake Powell House Boats

There are 8 of us looking to be at lake powell from Sept. 11-16. Anyone here know of a private rental place or cheaper rentals. I have heard that there is pretty much a monopoly on the rentals there. The cheapest I could find online, for 4 days 5 night, was 3200$ for a lower end boat. OUCH!

Oh good luck! I think houseboats at Powell sell out 12 months in advance

I called on a few and they are still available, but definitely getting booked fast.

Try out of anelope point marina, you can get a bigger house boat for better prices than wahweap.

We have never had difficulty getting a houseboat at Powell.

I assume you are going to be launching out of Wahweap. So your 2 options are these.

Yes, there is a monopoly......
We have stayed on the Discovery and Voyager boats and thought they were fine.

Costco has a contract with Lake Powell and houseboat....you may check their prices as well.
