Looking to buy some tower speakers and an amp. The budget is $3000. Looking for some good quality equipment that i can hear while riding. This set up is going on a 02 Xstar. Opinions please!!!

I will be able to give you a full review later in the week, but I just ordered up some wetsounds and so far have only heard good things about them. Mine should be in Monday. Also, I would look into nvs and the new skylon rubicons. I haven't heard wetsounds in person, or the new rubicons but have heard the nvs 1010's and old skylons. There is a good thread on this where they compared some nvs and skylon.

I've had both the NVS 1010's and now the wetsounds. Both great quality speakers and sound you can hear and listen to while riding. My decision to switch was based on weight (issue on my tower) , sound (personal preference) looks (personal preference) and price.
