Does anyone know how tight the rope should be when you are practicing tricks on the trampoline? Is it just supposed to be loose so you only get used to holding the handle, or is it supposed to be tight as if you were wakeboarding. And if it is supposed to be tight, where should the handle be in respect to the trampoline?

IMO tight only, a loose rope won't do you any good. I tied mine off to a tree about 15 feet from the side of the trampoline and roughly 8 feet above the mat. The handle was dead center in the middle of the trampoline when standing and holding the handle.

that sounds right, because if the rope is loose, you wont get the right motion that you would have to do behind a boat with rope tension

The rope needs to be tight. You will make it loose when pulling for a rotation or invert

angle your tramp away from the tree you tie the rope to, this will keep the rope tight on the way up and down,A hill is ideal, I do it in my back yard, not only good practice, but so fun.

mine is has 2 black heavy duty bungee cords attached to it so that you get the feel of the boat pull he practicing and it helps you kepp the rope in the correct position.
