Not sure you'll ever see a "budget" Nautique. That's never been there style.

I hear that the v-drive gear box is new on the Air 210 2006. It is smaller so easier to repair but only available in the Air 210 2006. They are trying it on the 210 and if all goes well it will be introduced on the other models. Anyone hears the same? If I buy a new air 210 I am the tester and will I regret it a long time?
any thought on this? (it would my first Nautique)

Never mind.

I bought a 2005 SAN with 25 hours on it.

I am looking at the ice on the lake and wishing as hard as I can for it to go away. (is that called wishful thinking?)

Congrats on a very sweet boat...

A few questions:

1) What options does it have?
2) How much did you pay w/o applicable taxes?
3) Did you buy private or from a dealer?
4) How much do you think you saved from buying new?
5) What state or province did you buy?

Post some pictures... lets see that bad boy!

Not sure if it's the "super" and "air" terms that's causing the confusion for you, but to be clear the "Air 210" is a direct drive. The "Super Air 210" is a V-drive. Perhaps that is why the difference in price is throwing you off?

CC doesn't make a direct drive 210 anymore. Super Air 210, Air 210, same thing.

Shows you how much I know... I haven't kept up with Correct Craft as much since I sold my Nauty and bought a Supra.

Here are the answers to :

A few questions:

1) What options does it have?
It is a team package (TP), (perfectpass, Clarion II ...
It has the ZR6 and Power plus V-drive
Tower mirror
Bimini
Bow filler cushion
Custom hull color
Pull out cleat (2 come with the TP and 2 are option)
Board rack (I think that it also comes with the TP)
Snap cover
Docking lights
Heater

2) How much did you pay w/o applicable taxes? 65K Can $ without a trailer, I do not need it, the dealer is so close he will do the transport to and from every spring and autumn. The Nautiques are much more expensive here in Canada.
3) Did you buy private or from a dealer? Dealer
4) How much do you think you saved from buying new? I saved 10.5K Can $. The 2006 had a better looking tower (to my taste) but heavier to fold, which I need to do to get in the boat rack. It also had less carpeting around the motor area, so maybe more noise. The NEW gear box worried me a lot
5) What state or province did you buy? Québec

In 2006 the "Super" Air is only available in the 220 (Super Air 220). The 210 is now only called Air 210, in 2006 there is no such thing as a Super Air 210.

Important for all wakesurfers: the direction of the prop is different to 2005 with the new gear box. Good for all regular surfers...

Reto, I thought the prop rotation changed on the 210 for the 06 model, not the 05.

They managed to make the gear box smaller but in order to do that, they had to change the rotation of the prop for 2006. That is only for the 210.
