I'd go with the Gator Randy Harris 143. I know it sounds a bit big, but it has a very similar 3 stage rocker as the Byerly, and has a bit more length for lots of speed into the wake for a massive amount of lift or pop! Both Byerly and Randy rode for Wake Tech back in the day so there boards are similar in ride style. BoardBag.com

Mango, CWB should be paying you! I would put you on something slightly bigger because of your height. 136-138

Man, the way you guys rave about the absolute, Im dying to try this board. Im not even in the market for a new board, I just got a GB Gonz. But it seem's to be the consensus on this board that the absolute is the almighty board right now. You guys should work for CWB, cause you got my interest!

I love my new board. By far the best board for me that I have ridden. But I cant say I have had the luxury of riding a bunch of boards. Ive been riding for a long time, but it's mostly been hyperlite's, because that was the only thing they sold around here for a long time. Besides that I have ridden a LF Trip, and a Blindside something. Never ridden a CWB though. (Message edited by r_dub on July 20, 2004)

i haven't sold a thing! i'm not a salesperson...i have no affiliation w/ doubleup, blindside, wet tech, or hardline, whatsoever. i believe in their products and push them, just as the people in here that push hyperlite, liquid force, or cwb.

You know what's kind of funny, is whenever this question comes up, everyone's response is always the board or at least the same brand that they ride. I snooped around the profiles enough to realize that. Im just curious if there is anyone out there that doesnt think the current board/brand they are riding is the best board out right now. And if so, what are they recommending?

I demo like a madman, so I ride what I think is the best. Not what was cheap or the coolest, or most hyped.
