Thanks, I'll keep an eye on it and see what it goes for tomorrow.
It's "on approval" so I doubt it sells.

Well, it's already north of $16,000 which (after fees) is more than I would be willing to pay.

You will probably get aids from sitting on the seats. No telling whats happened on that boat. Definitely no serious riding i can assure you that.

I would have expected to see the "extra" speakers to pop up on Craigslist but, I didn't see any.

I actually think it was probably a good buy. A few reasons:
- at least $4k worth of rev10s to sell
- low hours
- probably wrapped since day 1, so gelcoat is probably flawless
- interior looks good
- most hours are probably idling and blasting music, not riding
pull the speakers, pull that awfull support post, fix gelcoat in one spot, undo the mess of batteries, pull wrap

$37,500 🤤 I hope whoever bought it had it pre sold or bought it for their personal use and plans on keeping it for a looooooong time. Otherwise, good luck selling that monstrosity. That boats been passed around more than any I've ever seen. There's a reason for that.

Sure, pulling the speakers and selling them sounds like a great idea, except for the fact that the whole bow has been modified to fill with amps (who knows if the original seats are even in there), there are probably hole drilled all over the boat for battery and speaker wiring, amp mounts, etc. Who knows if the gelcoat is in good shape - from what I can tell, the wrap has peeled off in places revealing a blue gelcoat. The interior is red/white/grey. Can you imagine how awful that looks with a blue gelcoat. Oh, dont forget the 15% copart premium which actually makes this boat almost $44,000. I would rather buy a 1 owner low hour stock LSV for $38k.

"FULLY LOADED MALIBU WAKEBOAT! Searching for the perfect boat to corral babes in the party cove? LOOK NO FURTHER. This thing is optioned out with more speakers than Coachella. When you turn the music up even your mother wants on board this bad boy. This boat is a triple threat, Babes, booze, and bros. You best believe that, homeboy! Custom wrap stands out. Instant street cred cause the legacy left behind by the previous owner AKA THA Rage Boiz. "

Yeah, I had the same thought when he was selling it for $35k. I spoke with the previous owner and he would have sold it to me for $32k. But then I thought about all the hassle of trying to part the thing out, and it just didn't make sense to me to own what was left.

wonder what the carpet looks like. I'd think a strip club bathroom floor would be cleaner

I would have given them the 16k if it had all of the original 32 rev 10's. Sell each pair for 600-800 = 10k. Then sell the batteries and amps for the remaining 6k . Keep enough of the stereo for a normal level system. Then all you would have into the boat is the repair costs.
But someone has already had the bright idea of shaving some of the equipment and then auction it off. Private retail would be a nightmare since people could see all of the modifications done for the stereo.
So auction is the only solution at this point.

In all the times I've seen this boat, I've never looked close enough to notice that they added tower supports in the front. I guess I always assumed it was a Titan style tower. That's just incredible that they would do that. I wonder if they went without supports to start and then the tower started ripping out of the gelcoat, so they fashioned those awful looking bars! Dude really loves his music!

Actually the tower was replaced with a newer one and support legs added before any speakers went on it. A lot of mods were done to the boat/trlr before install. And the seats were raised a couple inches to clear batteries and yes it was blue and white before the many wraps. Not my cup of tea...but the install was insane and I know a ton of time went into it on many different occasion. The original owner kept wanting to add more and more...He even asked to have a generator installed so his batteries would not die.

its a non functional boat. Its got to be so overweight that it would respond like a fully slammed boat with 10 people on it, worthless unless you just idle it to the sandbar

Wake boat, NO. But a high quality stereo barge/douche canoe, YES. I'm surprised they didn't just swap in a generator for the engine. Then just use a trolling motor to get it to the party. Or call an Uber tugboat since everybody on the boat will be f'd up at the end of the day anyways.
