What difference a year makes.
Dowdy landing the double and a Kgb5 consistently and taking the Ws.
Shota has a hurt knee a believe. He was top 5 last year.
Harley is also injured.
What happened to Cory T?

Nice to see Dowdy on top of the podium after putting so much work in.
It will be interesting when Harley comes back, I wonder if he will dominate the way he has been, hes always been at least half a gear up on everyone else but everyone else is raising their standard now

I've always thought that Dowdy had the tricks to beat Harley, but he couldn't ever put it together in a contest. Now that he's been sticking his run it would be interesting to see him and Harley go head to head.

Kind of a surprising podium at Nationals:
1 Cory Teunissen
2 Nic Rapa
3 Noah Flegel
No Phil, no Rusty. Dowdy 6th, Dean Smith 7th.

No doubt. Is he the only one landing a blind slim right now?

I think so. Haven't seen anyone throw a Hasselhoff since Mark Kenny in the early 2000's and Ryan Siebring in the late 90's.

Jarrod, yes, a Hasselhof is a switch HS front flip to blind. I thought you were referring that Tony's Hasselhof was a blind slim chance. My mistake.
Tony had done the Hasselhoff earlier in the year, didn't look close enough to see that this run was a blind slim.

Just watched the video again, that blind front mobe with the tail grab was switch. So that makes it a blind fat chance.

Maybe this is a topic for a new thread, but lately i've been wondering what riders need out of a board sponsor. It seems like LF has done a good job with talent, but the "Dream Team" days of HL and more recently Ronix have faded. Why do you guys think keeps these guys on their board sponsors? Why don't the switch? My thought would be who is going to pay the most, the longest. Seems the self life of being a top rider has drastically fallen.

If I'm not wrong, I think Mark Kenney was the first one to do a blind front mobe and called it a Blind Freddo. A handful of riders do it on cable and Tony is the only boat rider I can remember doing it off the wake in recent times.
