Ha reminds me of like my 3rd trip to the lake with my new to me boat when we lived in AZ. Blew a tire right when we got to the lake. Strapped up the wheel, launched the boat, figured I'd change it at the end of the day.
Pulled the "good" spare off and then noticed it had a big chunk of tread missing. Held 50psi, but hadn't really looked at it since I'd just bought the boat. Put it on anyway and limped most of the way to town. Tire flat coming in, hit the Wally World at 5:00 on a Sunday and bribed one of the tire monkeys to mount me a tire ahead of the other jobs.
Got home, pulling into subdivision, new houses still going up, and see about a whole box worth of nails scattered on a corner. Jerked the truck just wide of the nails, didn't pick up any in the truck tires, but had 2 more trailer flats by the time I got to the house about 3 blocks away! 4 freaking tires that day!
