Liquid Force has a good lineup of cable boards. I can only speak for these 'cause they're the ones I've seen mostly ridden back in our local cable. Right now the popular ones for 2014 would obviously be: Deluxe, Peak, and FLX. Normally cable boards have good flex properties (I'd say among the three, the Deluxe has the best flex for pressing. I've seen both the Deluxe and FLX nose pressed like crazy), a durable hybrid / wood core, and channels that are quite more subtle than boat boards but have good enough bite and hold for some serious edging, apart from being catch free on obstacles. I'd say you won't go wrong with either of the three from LF. I almost forgot to mention the 2014 Raph, it's supposed to be as good as the three but I'm not sure why it's not as popular as them.
I ride a 2014 Peak. I chose it mostly because of the all wood core and I like the graphics (dunno if it's just me but I didn't like most of the 2014 graphics for most brands). I wanted a board sturdy enough and won't easily break even if it's banged up because quite honestly I'm far from being the best cable rider and I do hit my board in awkward places onto some obstacles ocassionally. I'm not a good "presser" but I feel like the Peak is a bit more stiffer. So far it's been OK, I've had some bad hits at the bottom of the board but so far the only real damage I got was a small roundish chip at one of the edge channels that likely caught one screw sticking out at one of the obstacles. Was easly fixed by a small amount of clear epoxy.
I initially wanted a board with no channels since that's where my old board had most of its damage before. I was eying the 2014 Slingshot Shredtown, heck if those guys can ride the board anywhere I'm quite convinced it can handle my riding. Too bad I can't find one locally.
Sorry for the novel, but if you ask me, get one with the properties I mentioned: good flex, sturdy core, and subtle or no channels at the bottom. If I'd pick another board it would be a Slingshot Shredtown or Relfex (cause its cheaper).
