^BG I thought they looked really similar too. Wonder if they are the same exact board but just different graphics.
^^yeahhh I have never really been a fan of the CWB art stuff not even back in the day but I think they have a pretty decent following just not my cup of tea. Both of the cwb and obrien stuff just seem dated a bit compared to some of the other new stuff graphic wise. I know the graphics do not have an effect on how the board rides but its still dissapointing. I am hoping we see some surf expo pics soon and I am sure that will help get a better idea how all these new boards are going to look in person not just a flat image from the web. Sometimes seeing it in person makes them look better
JD and Scott Bouchard have gotten together to create the third installment in a very successful series. This all-new design gives JD the ability to ride at the cable or behind the boat on the same deck. Crossover Core Technology combines two advanced materials, the Webb provides flex characteristics but maintains its rocker line between the bindings allowing for great pop off the wake. The Webb features a blended 3-Stage rocker line allowing it to carry speed without sacrificing that explosive feel off the wake. Combine all of this with a full 360 degree ABS sidewall and full Sintered Enduro base and you have one of the most durable boards on the market. The Webb comes in 134cm, 140cm & 145cm.
The Webb looks like such a sick board. I love my Franchise but am really looking forward to trying that board out. Finally Webb has a board designed to ride well in all aspects and has the ABS rails and a sintered base.
I had an opportunity to ride JD's board the other day. Its a really fun board, and has some cool characteristics to it. It flexes a little, and I rode it behind a G23, which was nice cause the huge wake gave the board enough time to flex and then snap for great pop at the end of the wake. It was a great all around board that I enjoyed riding, and riding behind Murray's G23 wasnt so bad either! Biggest wake I have ever ridden, and thats with only stock ballast and 4 people....
I will say this about O'brien. I thought the Decade looked like crap when I saw those pics. But after seeing their line in person at expo, it all looks so much better than these pictures. The Decades have an awesome sparkle to them. Really nice finish. The Baker and the Bruce look extremely modern and well made. The Paradigm is just a thing of shimmering beauty. It's fantastic!
Saw some pics of what I'm guessing is the limited LF Melissa, Vantage CT and Shane boots this year on alliance's surf expo pics. I'll be getting the Vantage for sure!
found the answer to my curiosities on the CWB prizm and the 4 hole mounting.
i kinda wonder if there is something in the mix in the future that would be like the hyperlite systems...
Any ideas when the 2013 LF boards / bindings will hit the stores?
Well theyre out n australia, my local shop here n FL got the 2013 ronix gear in already. My buddy just picked up 2013 hyperlite setup. So like last yr I'm counting on pretty soon.
Thanks,. I was surprised they were not out yet, I know the other brands have stuff out. I know that on LF Aus FB page it has them but they are not on the LF website. The 2011 stuff was out in stores in Aug. of 2010. I will keep looking and waiting.

FYI the O'Brien Baker is different for 2013. Not much different though! What they did is shorten the molded in fins, and reduce the width of them. They did this because thy found it would track too hard, at the same time, shorter fins will make it a little more flexible in the tip and tail!
Hyperlite hit a home run with the new 2013 process boot. I got mine today and they fit better look better and mesh better with the binding than any of the other system boot models. I rode mareks last year and the process boot is good!
Now i can wear the toe strap the way it should be used!
Here's a little bit of my new Ronix gear that I just got in the mail, today. The 2013 Code55 bindings (Dean's new boots) and the 2013 One Time Bomb. Can't for Dean's new board, the Code22, to arrive!
I rode the new Byerly AR-1 (Rathy's board) and it is a great shape. Rides loose and skatey but holds a strong edge into the wake. Softest landing Byerly ever with its continuous rocker, also super fast. Supposedly it's the strongest board in the line.
Jay - Are the Dean's boots basically the new Cell's???
I'm super bummed the cell's are gone and looking for a replacement CT boot (never thought I'd say I'm looking for CT boots only, but the Cell's made me a believer!)
yea will do. I don't see how it will eventually all get scratched off from rails. because of the groves running down the board, parts of the belly will not touch any ramp.
My wife's new Quarter Til Midnight finally came in. I didn't unwrap it because once I got home I realized that it was a 130 and was supposed to be a 135.
It looks really sweet though. The dark blue is a flake and will look awesome in the sun.
The new blue and black One's look really good with it.
Got my new AJ Boots in today. Still waiting on the new Marek Nova and system pro bindings.
How is the sizing? I'm wanting to buy either the AJ or the process boots but don't have a store near me to try them on.
Are they true to size? What size shoe are u and what size boot did u get? Thanks

This years sizing is very true to shoe size. They focused on making sure the fitment was spot on this year.
