Our new house has a built in ironing board. So what should I do with my old ironing board?

Stuff it with styrofoam. Use excessive amounts of duct tape. Surf.

I mixed a little water with Gorilla glue laid it out, spritzed it with more water and let it foam up.

Hang on there. That's a photoshopped garage. There are empty shelves, several places where you can see the floor, and even organized tools. How do we know that is a real ironing board?
Oh, and do you ride top up with square edges down or top down and the rounded edge into the wave?

I have a washer and dryer, French Country hutch, and a gas grill to get rid of and maybe some other furniture to get rid of as well.
Draped with a fabric covering, ready for some resin.

I don't see the gas grill as that good for a surf board so the shirt board was the best idea.

A little more progress... The fabric top and epoxy have been attached. The fabric was supposed to look like typical ironing board covering but the resin made it look more translucent and I couldn’t get the air bubbles out. I've glassed the bottom of the board.

I thought that I'd do a fabric inlay on the top side of the board. What do you think?

Well, I do live in Columbus and I’m paying tuition for my daughter at the institution. You’d think that they’d throw in the bucket for free after paying tuition but I had to go to Lowes and spend more $ to get the bucket.

Too bad you didn't have some corduroy pants to put on the front. I don't know....maybe you have too much free time.
Can't wait to see it in action!

Spent most of the weekend getting ready for vacation, so I didn't get to the glass work. Fins painted and epoxied in place... and fabric chosen. Can't wait to have this thing up in the rack on the lake...
