I am auditioning/interviewing for Wipeout today! I know I gotta be a spaz, so I was thinking of wearing my AA bindings and a life vest (Coast Guard Approved, of course). Any tips to make sure I get on the show?
Here is what their email said, so I need some good adjectives...
"We will be asking you some questions to get to know you. We will be asking you to describe yourself. Think up some great adjectives you can use. Fun and Outgoing are not original! We hear them all the time. Remember... We love memorable and funny! You want to be the person who America is talking about on the next day when they say, "Hey did you see that (fill in the blank) guy/girl on WIPEOUT yesterday?!?" (Oh and "the winner" ... not so creative...keep thinking!)"
Make sure to yell "It's not as easy as it looooooooooooks" as you fall 20 feet or so into the water! My wife and I love that show! Let us know if you make it to the show! Keep us posted!
You should also tell them that you go and get water boarded on a daily basis. so this course will nothing out of the ordinary. May help you get in, i could imagine John n John the commentators nick naming you the water boarder. Could give you some more air time!
I had to fill out more paperwork than I did when I went parachuting, but the lady said "I'm pretty much in!" Thanks for all the help. I did bring in the boots, vest, boardshorts and handle and represented the sport!
