Welcome to the addiction! I learned on a LF Trip as well...love that board. As far as setup, I would suggest a 'mirror' arrangement of your bindings. I think the typical beginner setup is 15 degrees ducked 'out' for both feet. I always set them up, get in them and jump around on the carpet, making sure that my knees feel comfortable with bending down to a sitting position and torquing my torso like I'm holding the rope.
I have heard people say to jump as high as you can and then land in a stable 'legs apart' stance. Measure your stance and adjust binding distance accordingly. I personally just put them 'all the way out'...but that is personal taste.

Good luck...and get a good no stretch rope!
Thanks for the advice. Will hopefully have a handle ordered for the weekend.
Great choice on board. It will take you as far as you want to go.
I recommend subscribing to LearnWake.com
It is a great website with very helpful videos covering everything from tower connections & getting up to KGB's.
You could also download T.S.O. Wake (The School of Wake) App for your iPhone (if you have one) It is another great tutorial resource with tons of Vids.

Welcome to wakeboarding! A little heads up about Wakeworld. You're going to need thick skin sometimes, as you'll likely take some flaming at some point or another. Dont take it personally, and tough it out, because this site is also full of awesome people with great experience and help.

I have plenty of forum experience. Been through it all before so know what to expect. Thanks for the heads up anyway
I had a few hours out on the water on Saturday. Was great finally getting to use my own board and boat. Had one of the hottest days of the year for it too which was good. Going to try and get out as much as possible from now on. Had a couple of nasty falls. My foot came out one of my bindings and I kinda twisted my ankle. Wasn't long in getting back up and then was down again, Face first this time. Still absolutely loved it though and can't wait to go again
Now you need to start trying to stand up a bit more, trying not to bend at the waist and keep your chest up.Bending at the waist is a bad habit you want to correct early so it doesn't end up being in your muscle memory. You were standing taller as the video went on.Nice job keep at it ,you will get better and it will get easier.
Thanks. Going to have a few more lessons soon while getting as much time as possible on the water on my own (not literally) The instructor said I done pretty well for my first ever attempt at any watersports

Looking great out there man! Would definitely reinforce that learnwake membership, the guy who runs the website and does video diagnostics of your riding is fantastic. Definitely knows what he is talking about. Tear it up, and don't forget to have a blast!
