The show was pretty good but I could go without actors, stretched faced ex-olympians, comedians, and fashion designers telling me about American history. Other than that I enjoyed the series but was expecting more.
I really enjoyed it. We gathered as a family every night it was on to watch it. I am Native American so for me I was pretty disappointed with how little they devoted to the oppression of Native Americans. Its a pretty huge blight on the landscape of our history that most Americans don't recognize and I felt like the creators of this documentary were fine keeping it that way. Other than that I really loved it.
Ive watched a few episodes looks pretty good hoping for a boring weekend when they show them in a marathon,As for the Pacific on HBO i watched all 10 episoses it was ok ,overall i was a bit dissapointed in the series.
Loved the series. There were so many things that I thought happened in history that were untrue. I felt like I lived 1-12 grade history class all in a few hours.
As a small business owner I reflected on the greatness this country affords me to pursue my dreams. After watching this series I want to say thanks for reminding me of the privilege and responsibility.
