Yeah she's looking great, I'm trying to purchase that board, but impossible to delivery it from liquidforce.com to Europe and performance, the house, buy wake,... don't have it yet... Any idea how I could get it before Xmas?

We have a sample from Liquid Force..so far the consensus is they really like the board. Very fast, the channels do work and are functional. Good pop off the wake. The only thing that surprised that we felt different is that it doesn't have the "flex" / Spring of a flex board so those looking for this, it might not be the board for you. But I think this will help bridge the gap between a traditional construction board and a flex board. I've spoken to Watson several times about it, and he has told me the more he rides it, the more he likes it. I don't see it replacing his regular pro model, but think there is alot to be said about it. Liquid has told us mid to late January till we see boards for sale. So unfortunately they won't be under the Christmas Tree this year. hope this helps. Bill @ Perfski.com

i really dont want a flex board per say.. i figured the hybrid would be much lighter/less swing weight.. and grind base is a big plus for me.. alot of natural jibbin here in tx

What is the actual fin configuration on this board? I saw pictures and it looks fin-less with no holes for screw-on fins.

I believe there are four removable lyman type fins and an option for a center fin

Yes removable fins Mike McCormick has one and seems to like it he is upsizing when they get their stock. He said less flex than the recoil which is what I ride. As soon as he gets some demo units in I am going to take a ride. (Message edited by tampawake on December 11, 2009)

Would you, please, make some photos of the fins and the sidewall when you get it and post them here?

I held it at MidWest Mastercraft. It is indeed much thinner and lighter. Most importantly it keeps the awesome double/quad concave spine to break the flats landings!

so it has the concave! the only thing im worried about is too much flex. the severance is a really stiff but still flexy board and i dont even want that. basically im wondering if its just a super thin watson

the wake place vid shows it flexin' pretty good http://www.thewakeplace.com/?p=671 granted this was a pre-production model from my understanding, but i am willing to bet not a whole lot changed in the amount-of-flex department

While holding the Watson Hyb tip on my hand and the tail on my foot, it flexes without pushing that hard. However, it didn't seem to flex a ton, if that makes sense. Seemed like limited flex. I did the same to the regular Watson and it barely even wiggles. I would say it is somewhat more flexible that a Melissa (softer womens flex pattern). For the record I love how the Melissa rides but the edges are deadly sharp near tip and tail.

Anyone know what the 143 says on the bottom of it?? I have seen many pictures on the web where the 43 says omg just like the 39 but it seems like I remember seeing a pic when it first surfaced and it said booya on it. I really want to try this board but don't know if I can handle spending a bunch of cash on a deck that says booya.

On a side note am I the only one that thinks the 2010 Melissa Ltd are the best looking bindings for LF for next year? Ok Im biased but I love the designs she is coming up with for her bindings.
