That was a well designed play at the end against the Bengals...... Josh McDaniels energy/excitement at the end just made my day.... EXCITED he is the coach of the Broncos.

It was a fun watching Seattle football this weekend that's for sure. Huskies amazing win and then the Hawks going off today. With Matt back the attitude is of the entire team is completely different. I see an easy win over Az this coming week. Love it that San Fran got shut down. Dave, Stay brave and just keep forcing the pain of your latest loss way down deep inside. Oh, and remember it's ok to cry. Good times going back and forth today Nick.

yes it does, and to top it off i lost by 1.5 points on the late, meaningless adam viniaterri kick. i had chris johnson and got to watch as lyndale racked up yards late in the game while viniaterri kicked that fg.

I went to the Husky game and left with 4:30 left. I am an idiot. I redeemed myself by going to the Seahawk game Sunday and watched them clown stomp the Jags. I was impressed with the play of Matt but was at least as impressed with the D. Holy hell they were causing pure chaos.

So whats up with Rush Limbaugh? He wants to buy one of the bottom teams and players say they will not play for him?? I still see guys playing for Al Davis, Jerry (insert) Jones, But not Rush. I thought he apologized for the Bl--- comment and lost his broadcast job. If he has the $$ and can bring back a once (LA) competitive team let him at it.

So whats up with Rush Limbaugh? Friggin PATHETIC. First of all most of these owners likely think and say A LOT worse that Rush not to mention the fact that they have stepped on people all along the way to get enough $$ to own an NFL team. Only difference is they are not entertainers and their opinions are not well known. So they will support Michael Vick, a convicted felon and animal murderer, people who beat their wives et al, but would not support Rush. FYI, I think that Rush is a douchebag but if he wants to buy a team and has the $$, have at it.

I was listening to the Herd on ESPN about Rush getting a team and he has some pretty interesting points. Over 250 players were arrested last year, most crimes were DUIs, assault, and domestic violence. All these players got a slap on the wrist and were allowed to play in the NFL. But Rush can't own a team?!?! Nick, picking up Hasselbeck is probably a good choice. Even Matt Schaub threw for 371 yards last week on the Cards.

"I may try and pick up Hassleback for my Qb this week.... how is that for admitting I was wrong Cliff" I hate it! I like being called crazy, blind, delusional and all the other smack talking insults you guys throw out at me throughout the season. I can't stand the tedious, speculative, self serving fantasy football mentality. In my book your team is your team and you stick by them even if they're the worst team in the league. I love starting this thread every year and can't wait to see what interesting off the wall insults we can dream up for each other. In short please return to slamming my boys so I can get back to enjoying our volley of insults.

Here's a good read. http://www.theonion.com/content/news/raiders_achieve_first_down So who's the next coach of the Raiders going to be when Tom Cable goes to jail? Man that franchise is a mess. Seahawks 28 Zona 17 with the 2009 debut of Matt Leinart.

Wow, I found out I was going to the Hawk game about 2 hours before the game. I kind of wish I didn't go though. Seahawk fans are pathetic. Most of them don't even give a crap if the Hawks win or lose. It is just a social event to get all dressed up for and hang out with your friends. I am sick of having good human beings on the team. I want straight up thugs who want to bury the opponent.

I assume you know his old ass is 3rd in the NFL in QB rating, tied for 3rd with 12 passing TD's, only thrown 2 to the other team....and to top it off, is 6-1.... Not bad for an old man eh.....

I know he is/was/has been a great player. I used to really like the guy and always felt like he would have looked good in Black and Gold. But...with all of the crap with him retiring and un-retiring and waffling and so on and so forth I have grown tired of him. His going to one of his old teams' arch rivals was just a little too much for me. I know it's a business and all that but I can't imagine Terry Bradshaw finishing up his career in Cleveland or Cincy. He is having a great year but I was glad to see him go down today!

Man it's gonna be a bummer for you when Bill Cowher comes back to coach the Browns. Haha jk. As for Farve I can't blame him too much for going to the Vikings to show Ted Thompson twice a year that he can still throw it all over the field. I can't blame the Packers either for choosing to move on though. I think he's really just trying to make sure that Peyton Manning doesn't break all his records.

I also wanted to express my pleasure in Jay Cutler being 3-3. Though this should not be a surprise to anyone, he has ALWAYS been a .500 QB at best. Million Dollar Arm......$.50 Head.... Think that is the exact same record the Bears had last year with Orton. Orton is 6-0 with the Broncos....has thrown for 1464 yards 9 TD's-1 INT, as opposed to the weak chinned one, who is 1452 11-10..... NICE!

Someone else is gonna be coaching the Panthers next season that's for sure. I can't believe they tried throwing the ball all over the field versus the Bills rather than run it down their throats with DeAngelo and J-Stew. Cowher would be a perfect fit with that running game.

If you are a Steeler hater, how great was this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=By3kO1hYvrQ AP is a BEAST!! Why didn't the Vikes just keep running the ball at that point? They gave the game away. Give it to your best player an that's not Favre.

Did you watch the game? Yes, Peterson is a MONSTER, but take away his 19 yard run and he was 18 for 50. Three and punt isn't going to win you a lot of ball games.... The Steelers made a conscious effort to stop the run and make Brett Favre and the receivers beat them. Chester Taylor catches that ball on the 25 going in with a minute to play....and the Vikings get to overtime at worst.

Cowher is going to be coaching the Dallas Cowboys 1) Jerry has the money to pay him very well 2) Most of the talent is already in place 3) There is a Super Bowl coming to town and Cowher could coach his own team in their own stadium 4) there just might not be a salary cap for players, and you know Jerry will pay for the best

EJ, doesn't look like you were watching. It was 2nd & 3 on the 19 yard line, with 1:19 to go. Hand the ball to AP and let him get the 1st down. I'd rather go into overtime and take my chances.

Off topic, but why ae running backs allowed to face mask, where if the defense had their hand the same way on the running back, it would be 15 yards?

They're not supposed to be able to "grab", but can put the hand in the face which most defenders are not allowed to do. Messed up but offensive games are exciting games

What a game today! Yah it was against the Lions, but when you can come back from 17 point deficit in the first quarter ya gotta give the Hawks a little credit. Next week is huge and the Cards looked really good today. The Saints are animals! Looking forward to watching Philly bust the Boys tonight. While we're at it, I'd hate to be a Packer's fan today.
