I am looking for an inexpensive battery voltage monitor with high and low voltage alarm. I have found a couple, but they are very expensive. Has anyone found a cheaper alternative.

What are you calling inexpensive? IMO $99 Stinger digital voltmeter is as cheep as the come. With that said. I wouldn't run the Stinger voltmeter I have had a few that have offer noise threw the system. Check out the Dakota Digital volt meters.

Thanks Grant, I have always wanted to add a voltage meter to my stereo bank.

I think I am going to mount it in my glove box or replace the voltmeter in the cluster.

Any tips on the install or is the pretty straight foward.

I have a volt meter front a center. I like to be able to see what voltage the batterys are at when playing from back of the boat or from another boat.
I run the Xantrax Link 10. Its a Volt/Amp meter.
