If you make them the exact same weight located in the exact same areas, yes, you are correct.

You're correct... it's a DD, not a v-drive. Also, I've taken the stock ballast bladder out and I rarely have the back seat in. It actually has TOO much wake for my taste. My preference is for slalom skiing primarily, boarding on occasion. When the ballast was installed and filled, the wake was plenty for a "recreational" boarder.

Chuck, Thanks man! I am waiting on the final paperwork from them so I can get it to my bank, they told me I should have it Thursday or Friday. If I get the paperwork tomorrow then we plan on taking it on Friday morning, you're more than welcome to come if you want! And I appreciate the offer on the bags, I'm not sure if the bags are good still but it has some in it. It really needs a cleaning and thorough going-through which I hope to do tomorrow if I get the papers to get the financing done. I really dig the baby-blue Supra, by the way!

Wow that Supra 21V sits high in the water! Especially the bow. I'd assume thats no ballast in the pic but either way I'm surprised at the stance of it being one of the (for a lack of a better word) "smaller" V-drives made.

Thats how pretty much every supra sits, the swim platform is right on top of the water, the black and yellow supra above sits the same. I think it looks good and makes the boat look like it can actually handle a little rough water.

FYI that yellow and black supra is a 22ssv and no ballast in and the end of a wkend with about 1/8 of a tank of gas. It sits perfect in the water. with people and ballast in, the swim platform has about 1/2 inch of water over it. what does smaller v-drive mean?

Ya, either way, i think supra's sit great and have great lines. As for a small v drive im not sure what that meant either cause 21-22' boat is a pretty good size.

I guess I meant that 20-21' is the smallest vdrive you'll find. Manufactures all have a 23-24 footer in their lines now.

NAW, If I could buy a Supra I'd already have it. I came really really close to a 20SSV about year ago. The problem is its Indmar. We are on Pine Lake, and the dealer across the street from me, Hubers (who has always been really great to me and my family) doesn't work on Indmar. Its been the only reason I have kept my Centurion. I think the only other boat I could get, and still have work done by them would be a Nautique, and since I'm a pretty terrible rider, I can't see the cost of upgrading to a Nautique, unless I got good money for mine. If you are ever looking for a 3rd who falls if he tries anything other than just straight w2w, I work in Lansing, so I am close.
