Boat mate trailer question

I can't seem to find my owners manual for my 05 trailer. I am not familiar with the oil based bearings, and they are throwing oil. What do I need to do to fix it?

Check out the bearing buddy website. its bearing buddy gold series on boatmate trailers. you can find a link from boatmate website or email them from the website. last time i had a question, boatmate called me back with 20 minutes of sending the email. weekday though.

Its probably just the allen screw loose on the hub. They should be bath bearings, so when that screw is loose the oil leaks out. my $.02

There are also front and rear seals on the hub that can wear out.

I service the hubs on my trailer every two years. I also use Royal Purple 50wt synthetic oil in them.
