08 PB Floyds vs 09 PB Floyds

I was wondering what the differences were in the 08 and 09s, if any. And if so are the 09s significantly better than the 08s?

umm well i have the 09's but to be honest i really dont know of any major differences. The lacing system i believe is a little different and where the strap end hooks in the back is a little different

The 09 are a little softer feeling in my opinion. The lace system is the same except for how the lace hooks to the boot. They feel different. I rock the 09 floyds this year and I love them! I would try both on and see which one you like more.

I love my 08 PB Floyds, actually, I loved them last year. They took a beating at the wakeboard camp, blew the plastic off the lace locks. Now they are a real pain to fix in the water if you come partly out on a fall.

how does it hook to the boot differently?

there is a pocket (nearly the whole length of the back of the boot) in the back of the 09 boots and the dangling portion of the lace fits snugly inside

it looks like there might be better heel hold down from looking at the pics (never worn the new stuff) the last THREADED lace loop angles right down closer to the heel as compared to last year. also in the same area you can see a flex zone (black color) that the '08 did not have. i bet that alone adds the slightly "softer" feel

hey kyle how do you lace up your bindings? I find it hard to keep everything tight while lacing the upper part...
