Wake Nation Info...?

...we're heading to OWC first week of May and we are thinking of making a stop at Wake Nation. Anyone been by and seen what is in the water or know what will be in by the 1st of May?

Hey Mike,

By May 1st, we should have the following obstacles in the water:
1. 60 ft. kink rail

2. A-frame

3. Fun box

4. Kicker - 3 ft.

5. Kicker- 5 ft. transitional

6. Iceberg

Hey Spencer, Winton Woods is about 10 miles away from Wake Nation. You can check out their site at http://www.greatparks.org/rec_camping/wwcamp1.htm. I'm not sure if there is any camping closer. There are a bunch of hotels near us. There are two Extended Stays that run about $50 per night. Hope this helps.

there's really no bad parts of fairfield either so just find a hotel as close to the cable as possible. there's gotta be something in that neighborhood right on rt.4.

i'll be there all week from the 18-22 of may. can't wait.

I am not totally sure but I think that an iceburg is just a rooftop rail.

I rode WakeNation Saturday and it is really nice. It is so much smoother than any other cable I have ridden.

The rails are going to be put in the water sometime this week.

an iceburg is a two sided wall-ride sort of thing, they have one at TSR and it's supposed to be really fun

i'll try to find a picture of tsr's
