When is it? on their website it doesnt say anything about a compt this weekend. And when i called their phone number it said they were closed and not opening until April 1st.. Whats the weather like down there?

I know KCrider and I will be there but doubtful we'll ride as the water will be cold as hell and I don't have a suit. KC is just a puss. Probably will hurt his arthritis. haha! I'll take my gear but we'll see if the water is warm enough.

JD, Skin it? I don't own a suit so if I ride, there's no choice. If the lake was 60 after the snow, a week of decent weather will get it up another couple degrees. I'm pretty sure I'll be riding now!

I will be there Saturday and Sunday, gotta work Friday.
JD, I doubt I'd need it but if the XL shorty or the Neo top would fit, and you're not going to wear them, I might want to borrow it. We'll see tho... depends on the weather as the water temp will be fine considering when we went to OWC last month, it was around low 60's and I was fine but it was also 75 degrees out.

That it is my friend! It's looking like it will be 70 degrees with rain/thunderstorms towards the end of the day (40% chance still so who knows) around 7pm. Till then, it will be sunny and windy. Up to 20-22mph winds but coming from the SE which "should" be partially blocked by the tree line some. Maybe on the far end it will still be windy but the first run and couple corners should be fairly good. Everyone needs to keep your fingers crossed for good weather. Can't wait to get back on the water and try all my new boards. I'll be the poser with a wakeboard and 3 skates who is still very beginner. haha!

CGA only and they do check. Mike had his thoughts posted in another thread but I can't find it. It's really not that big of a deal anyway.

Mike's very strict on CGA vests only. I guess a couple people have got away with it during a comp but during regular riding, it's a must for insurance reasons.
tylyn - Yes those are the prices. Plus, the weekday pass is from Memorial Day to Labor Day only. The full pass is opening day to last call.

Big thanks, as always, to Mike, Fritz and the entire KC crew for a good time. Even though the water was chilly and it was a little windy, come contest time everything was perfect. No man i didnt ride yesterday, wish i did even though it was snowing haha. Ha i should of been in INT. The reason i went into beginner was because the last comp i went to out there everyone was killing it in INT and doing air tricks. I couldnt land any inverts that day either. But oh well next comp wherever it is i will be riding in the INT class
