does anybody have some photos of a threesome setup or 2 pro 80's mounted on the outside of the rear legs and the top of the tower? I cant seem to find any on the wetsounds website? I have a monster MT2 and I want to mount the speakers on the outside? because of the low head room thanks
That looks awesome! Can this be done with most tower speakers? I just ordered some Fusions.... (would love Wetsounds..but don't have the scratch) This kind of head room would be sweet as well as how clean it looks.
Tim, do you know how many inches it is from center of the mounts to the back of the 485? I want to mount the 485 on the top bar where the monster tower sticker is in the photo if possible? I know the website says 20" over all depth but the mount looks like it sets back about 4" thanks again
the pics that arron posted are of my calabria team I had to mount the speakers that way because of the head room it works great I have had no problems with them mounted this way.we also just put 2 pro 485's on a mb sport tomcat that looks really good also(lack of head room also)
Do you get any tower shake? I wonder how much tower shake I may get if I mount mine up there. I have an after market Titan tower. If I get a lot of shake...do you think I could get stress fractures where the tower mounts?
I don't notice that much shake you might get a little more with them mounted this way. I had to put them this way there was not alot of head room with them down and I kinda liked the way this looked (different looking) these speakers are heavy so it might be different from tower to tower.I had a Centurian with a proflight tower that shook real bad with 4 6.5 cans on it. Calabria put some good backing in the boat for this tower.
Here is my Pro V with two 485s up top. Have noticed tower sway or had any problems mounting them on top. It does help having the stripper pole but even when i took out the pole the tower didnt sway.
