I'm sitting here nursing a broken leg, and I'm not going to make the show this year...it sucks! If anyone can take a ton of pictures, I would greatly appreciate it. Tim

Come on out, lots of cool stuff to see. All the wakeboard manufacturers (boats and gear) are all being represented well. I will be there all weekend, stop in and say HI.

Depending on where you will be living will determine how close spots are, but there are plenty of good spots on the Mississippi River with accesses in St. Charles, Alton, Grafton and Pere Marquette on the Illinois River. I have never been down there but I hear there are some good spots on the Kaskaskia down around New Atehns, IL. I can give you a few other lakes to hit to. Hit me up and I can give you the scoop.

Where do you put in on the Kaskaskia? I hit up George Winter Park from time to time. That place is right in the city, and in the spring, when the water's high enough, usually nice n' glassy. Close enough to head out for a quick after-work set.

I'll hop on the Kaskaskia band wagon too. We put in at New Athens and have never had trouble finding nice water.

Good point, Kevin! Clayton191, depending on where you're moving to in the area, you might want to check out Mark Twain Lake. I've usually been able to find some nice water there; it's probably about 2 hours northwest of STL.
