Agreed Paul. Don't make me come down there with a stolen boat. It'll only cost me like, 200 dollars in gas... Which I'll probably steal when I steal the boat

Just for the sake of coolness, do a huge Raley or catch a double up first time you hit a wake with it and catch that on photo/film ofcourse. Suppose you'd just make a tiny little careful w2k-jump or something, and it would break... Wouldn't that just suck?!

Ha! yes it would... However, if I made a lil careful wake jump and it snaps, I will probably still be able to walk. I was considering going all out for the first jump, but this thing's a tank and is either going to plow straight through the wake and snap, or buck me outta control and I'll be rollin the windows up like a fool. I think this is my plan... 1. get up 2. make some turns 3. do some ollies 4. Inspect for damage/injuries/splinters 5. 1 wake it 6. w2w then see #4 7. some sort of grab. 8. Go big. 9. Pick up the pieces 10.Cry.

Toss it up on E-Bay as some "Great, New, State of the Art, Innovation" that you want to release upon the world of Wakeboarding. All you need is at minimum $500,000 in a Swedish unmarked bank account, and you'll release the blueprints to the highest bidder.

Now you just need to add your accepted methods of payment. Western Union, Moneygram, wire transfer, cashier check, money order, shipping, escrow, or any promise of transaction protection/certification/guarantee. Now ride the thing

1. Strap on a pair of balls and go out their and ride. I mean jeez, this thread is so overblown. I am glad you made your own board, but for goodness sake, strap the thing on and go ride, or mount it on your wall and lets end this thread. The fact that you went out there already didn't ride and still made a video is ridiculous.

News flash: This is going down tomorrow. I also just got a new R1, so this will be the de-virginizing of 2 boards in one day. Here's some side by sides for comparison. I'm not sayin that the Log is anything like the 1, but just for reference:

How I missed this thread, I'm not too sure... Bon Voyage Scott! Thanks for calling to ask if I wanted to head out tomorrow, wish I had known about this sooner we would have found you a pull for sure! I'm truly bummed I don't get to be behind the lens for this one. I'll be scouring our cabin at sunrise for internet access tomorrow evening to look for updates, but at the very least shoot me a text when you get off the lake... or out of the hospital. haha

The highly anticipated video, finnally!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbBwXGhfJOc Alright, so here's my review: It rode just like any other board. It had a 'sweet spot' when making your cut towards the wake...too much edge and it would bog pretty bad, but if you took a gradual turn it held just fine. It rode a little slow, as to be expected. It had descent kick off the wake, I got bucked a few times and rolled the windows up. It would take a few more sessions to get the hang of it, but overall it was quite ridable. The biggest downside was the weight. On the rolls, I was tryin with all my might to get that thing around, but it wasnt happening. (I have them on lock ussually) On the landings it dragged pretty bad...like it put the brakes on when you hit the water. It rode pretty loose, as pete was toying with in the video. The tail felt a little squirly when you're just cruisin in the flats. It was structurally solid w/ what seemed like no flex. It took some digger falls too. The paint on the rails chipped off from the impact/flex on takeoffs and landings I presume. It did take on some water, which we emptied inbetween riders. All in all, it was fun to ride and it held together just fine. I didnt mean to drag this out for a month, and I apologize, but w/ the holidays, thats kinda the way it ended up. rick (justcoz5) you may now relax and go back to reading about rope length, vests and boat speed. that 210 is a heck of a wake to test it on... i like and if it can survive the kick and landings from that wake i think it could handle a lot

Way to get that board out there! That's gotta be a pretty sweet to actually put something together like that and come out with something relatively functional. It's pretty ballin' man!

Quote: 'It took some good poundings when the one guy kept casing the wake.' Glad to be of service! Tho the board was so heavy by the time I was riding it (I rode it third and it was getting more & more waterlogged) that it was pretty tough to get decent air.

I rode the One after riding the Log. I think a more viable use for the log would be to use it for your first session as a warm up tool. Then switch to a regular board and you'll take things way bigger and faster. Kind of like using a weighted bat in the 'on deck' circle for baseball. *triggered thought for new product Either the new 1 has something drastically different about it, or the log prepped me, but I felt like the pop was ridiculous in comparison to last years white 'one'. As for a job in the industry, that would be a dream come true, however w/ the current state of the econ, I doubt thats a viable option right now. To pay it forward would be a descent chunk of change for shipping. I'd have to guess this thing comes in at twice what a regular board weighs...plus the liability.

i am willing to bet that it wasnt the actuall weight of the board messing with you. with the rocker the way it is on that board and having a flat spot with a very drastic change in the rocker line the board is more than likyly incredibly slow, thus the hard time getting the board around on your roll and the landings where the board seemed to stop rather quickly. good to see she survived a couple rides to ride another day
