Anyone have any wake pics of the X15 and X30 wakeboarding and/or wakesurfing. Looking into new boats and was dead set on a new Bu 23lsv but think I need to explore my options a little first. These are the only two other boats or brand I'd consider, I hate the picklefork no offense.

The X30 drives like a pig. I didn't like that boat for much more than putting a lot of people. The X15 is better driving, wakeboarding and surfing. Talk to Darren at the Mastercraft dealer. I use to work with him and still stop by his shop regularly. He is a good guy and am sure he would be more than happy to take you out on both. I can't believe you are actually considering something besides a BU.

I know I know, at this point it's just a twinkle in my eye or an itch I need to sratch before I go with a new bu. I've been in an 08 X15 this past labor day but didn't drive it or ride it. I couldn't believe how much taller the boat was than mine, it just looked huge tied up to mine. I really don't care for the dash or guages but could probably live with it if I had to. Well I guess when pigs fly and hell freezes over. The storage in the new MC is huge. Unless they changed something on the X30 when I worked for Copes I sold an 06 X30 and the thing could barely turn at any speed over 30mph. (Message edited by polarbill on September 09, 2008)

nu bu, lets go for a ride!! I have a 09 X15 and a 07 X30 ready for a demo. Brett is right, the X15 does drive better, I wouldn't call it a pig though.

Darren, make sure you get a 10% deposit and signed sales contract. I am not sure if Nu Bu is a serious buyer.

X-15 is a great boat with a great wake. If I were shopping it'd be second on my list right behind an X-star.

I own an X-15 and have had all kinds of riders, beginers, advanced, etc. and they all love the wake. We do surf off the stock ballast a lot but if you want to have some real fun we just loaded to 750 fac sacks and 12 people this past weekend I'll try and post some pics.

I looked at the X15 this past summer. It rides well and has a decent wake. My big hold up is the tower. I didn't like how the "zero flex" flexed so much and didn't care for the wires running outside of the tower. If I could get a different tower on it, it would be my second choice right after an 09 BU 23 LSV. BTW, I'm not that big of fan of the Illusion tower anymore either, but at least everything is tucked inside and looks real clean. The Titan 3 would be my choice on either of those boats

Well Matt I was born in Bellevue Washington in 1981. My mother is Crystal and my father is Robert. I spent my first 8 years in South Bellevue in an area known as Eastgate. It was here that I attended Newport children's school for kindergarten. I then attended the fine establishment of Eastgate Elemetary. At the age of 8 I decided it was a time for a move so I made my parents move me to south Redmond which is now known as Sammamish. It was here that I spent the best years of my life. I first attended Redmond Elementery through the sixth grade. In 4th grade I was a trouble maker and was issued 5 D-Slips. I cleaned up my act and became a model student and human. For 7th-9th grade I attended Inglewood JR High on the Plateau, this is where everybody goes. I played football in 9th grade and stole the 2 years starter at left tackle's starting spot. I also became student of the Month and then student of the year. I almost forgot, in 7th grade I was riding my bike and jumped a curb, landed in the street and now have 10 screws and a plate in my arm. I also did a 10 day bike trip through the San Juans and the STP(Seattle to Portland). For High School I attended Eastlake High, the home of the Wolves. I pretty much slacked off as much as possible because High School is the easiest thing on earth. I started partying my Junior year. My senior year second semester I was ahead on credits so I didn't sign up for 5th or 6th period. When it was nice enough I left everyday at lunch and spent the rest of the day on my boat. Life was good. I worked just hard enough for Eastern Washington University to give me an academic scholarship so I attended this diamond in the rough institution. I joined a fraternity even though there was only 5. I joined because we had a beach volleyball court in the back yard and they took me wakeboarding on my rush event. I partied way too much but still managed to graduate. I now work for my my families business which is a Warehouse Distributor of Heavy-Duty, Marine and industrial Auto Parts. We specialize in Alternators and Starters. This past December I moved into a house on Lake Sammamish with Ryan who works for Ronix and Bret V who you may have heard of. I have had a great summer and am pissed it is coming to an end. Thank you for your time Matt.

Give it time everybody. Darren, it was hilarious watching your shop kid try and drive the truck and trailer down by my house. He was having a hell of a time backing the trailer up.

I know I forgot my camera like an idiot. I was like 15 min down the freeway when I realized I left it at home. Anyways Darren was awesome and I have to say I was way more impressed with the boat than I thought I would be. It was a really good experience and we couldn't have picked a better day for it. The boat had a ton of power, ran strong, didn't rattle going through some wakes from other boats, felt tight, loved all the storage. The rear lockers are very very small though. We're still trying to dial in the surf wake, I will get pics of that next week for sure when we go back out. The wakeboarding wake was really good with just stock ballast.
