What is this? If I do a stale with a tuck knee its called a "tuck knee stale"? Obviously people have been doing these for a while. I think. Just never saw them alot before until Schwenne's on Alliance and Henshaw in the magazine...big tuck knee indy in Tahiti. THESE THINGS ARE SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No if you did a tuck knee and grabbed stale fish it would be called gay. Tuck knees are pretty much only grabbed indy. It's just the natural thing to do.

Found it. http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/1/622805.html?1220634706 My apologies to Schwenne, it is him bringing the style, not Henshaw. I also re-read the original post and saw that you referenced this shot. (Message edited by srh00z on September 10, 2008)

Nick, tuck knee means grabbing around the knee instead of reaching between your legs (stinkbug). you cant do a tuck knee stalefish

http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/1/622807.jpg There's the pic from the thread Stephen linked to. All I know is that there is no way I could get my foot to bend over that much in my Zeus bindings. Guess I'm not gonna be able to pull off the "tuck"...

Chris O'Shea has one of the best in the business. That one of Schwenne is tight though.

Chrisso's? I'm not sure, probably though. There are a few tuck knee's from the Pressure Cooker that made it into his section for my upcoming movie.

The shot of henshaw in one of the past Standerd issues is sick because the board is out behind him, almost like a glide.

Schwenne is definately the one to take the crown on bringing this new style back into wakeboarding. Still having a huge emphasis on the poke, the tuck knee is a new art that other riders will start to imitate. Props to Mike at West Coast Camps for always pushing new ways to do standard tricks on the wakeboard.

It's just like mitch said. You don't have to bend and touch your knee to your board or whatever. It's about how you go about grabbing your board--do you go around your leg or in between them? Some people will tweak it, but that's a personal thing.
