Anyone change their own? How difficult is it, or what gotchas do I need to look out for? It has about 250 hours on the motor, how long can I go before they need to be changed?

Easy to do. You need to have a flex head rachet and a decent selection of extensions. I also like to have a compact u-joint handy.

Tread in by hand to avoid cross threading.

One at at time to avoid confusion with plug wires.

Use delectic grease on the plug contact tips. It makes them corrosion resistant. Put a little in the boot as well.

Every season or 200 hours for me.

Is their a certain gapping that needs to be done to spark plugs? Or a certain torque (torque wrench)that I need to be aware of? Any certain brand/type of plugs superior to others? Thanks in advance

Some Mag 350's have a pretty tight fit between the exhaust manifold and plug that require a cut down socket.

Not trying to be mean, but if you are asking about gap and torque, you probably shouldn't be doing this without someone with a bit more technical experience at least watching over you.

I know it sounds like a total noob question, but I already have changed the impeller, thermo, and fluids. I'm hoping I can take on a few other maint items. It is an ordeal to get it to a dealer. Spark plugs should not be much more difficult than what I've already experienced, right?

Not a big deal. Make sure you are fully prepared (plugs, gap, tools) and go for it.
