So the standard boards are made with texalium cloth and the limited edition ones are made with carbon fiber?

that board it sick. I wish I would have seen that before I bought mine. I have the lime green/gold with camo pads. I've had it for 1 month and it already has a ding on the side where the fiberglass cracked. I've used a Walzer Alpha for over a year and it looks brand new. Not sure how the crack happened but it upsets me.

Sweet looking board Tyler, and not to take away from your new stick, but fiberglass doesn't chip. It's a fiber, like your t-shirt. The resin used to laminate fiberglass can chip, especially if the matrix the fiberglass is laminated with is resin heavy - that is to say the ratio of resin to fabric is more than 1 to 1, then the matrix will take on the attributes of the resin which is typically brittle and easily chips.

The factory is in My home town of Venice, Florida. As for the board chipping something either had to hit it or it dropped on something. I have a board that I rode for the first 2 1/2 years I wakesurfed it there isn't a chip on it. Also I rode Zap skimboards for the last 16 years and never had one just chip. But if you go to a surf shop and buy some suncure it is an easy fix. Glad you guys all enjoy your boards and thank you for supporting Phase 5 and wakesurfing. Oh yeah The carbon boards are retarded Fast. There stiff and haul a$$

That board is a steal compared to what shops in canada charge for the regular daniello pro's. I paid $709 + 13% tax for my board. lol

I got #11. Took it out for the first time today. Totally different than my broadcast. That back end is loose! I had to adjust to using the edges to carve instead of the fin(s). I was able to spin it pretty easily. Never rode out a 360 without a rope, but got close. Got darn close on an accidental 720 as well. Conditions were awful, and my wake was small since my buddy dropped one of the flyhigh plugs in the lake. (grumble about $7 to ship a $5 item) Anyway, the board is gorgeous. It's light and fast. I cant wait to get better :P
