We just make a L turn instead of a slow circle as in a double up, after making the hard L, make a turn back toward the middle of the L, just as if it was a double up. You will be able to see the wave easily. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone?

yes, correct. for a right hand triple up (for heelside left foot forward person) make about a 90 degree turn. straighten out for a second then go around like you are doing a double up. I reccomend driving just to the left of the (BIG) wave you created. this gives the HUGE triple up to your rider and is easier on your ride.

The largest triples I have seen are from starting from a dead stop taking off and very slow with slight turn (5-10mph kind of like when you surf behind the boat. These rollers are enormous. After these large roller are formed proceed to get up to full speed, circle and drive simular to a double up but drive to the left or right of the extremly large rollers coming at you. As a rider, I have seen this wall of water that seems as tall as I am (6'2") form in front of me that are just plain scary. Good luck and be safe. Does any body know how to drive a triple-up whip?

Im not sure but my friend threw what he called a whip, he drove it like a double up but went in a full circle then straight through the middle. It was freakin scary.
