For those of you that have one, or have at least ridden behind one, what's your favorite and why? Please be specific.

The new & old 210 are both good. I like them equally but for different reasons. The old is straight vert and so fun to ride. The new one is a big meaty wake more similar to an X-star and also fun to ride.

I will have to second the OG 210 as well. That wake is so awesome. If you weight it heavily the wake just boots you straight up. I have also riddin the 236 and that wake is sick too. There must have been 12 people on the boat and the stock ballast and that was by far the biggest wake I've ever hit. The 220 is a nice wake also but it takes some weight to get it straight. I like the fact it has a trash can in the boat though. The new 210 is great. I love the lay out of the boat 08 not 07 because it is similar to the 236 but smaller.(I don't like big boats all that much). The wake is good to. Again stock didn't satisfy my wake liking but it grew signifigantly with some weight in there I think we were running 2400 lbs total and I thought we had it dialed. I also can't forget my 97 sport nautique cause it throws a sweet wake for a DD with the set up that we run. It is steep and solid and that is all I really ask of a nice wake.

I was out in the Team 220? Down at Nationals down in Kenosha, Wisconsin earlier this summer and that wake was INSANELY huge. Wish i would have had a chance to ride it. Did ride behind a 210 for a set once and that was sweet.

I had a 210 for five years and loved it. I never rode another wake that kicked like that. I was proud that a lot of malibu and mastercraft guys wined about it being to firm. Until I got my my new ride I believed the 210 was the best. I upgrade to a 07 236 which is the same hull as the new 230 and it is insane. Smooth transitions without the dip prior to the wake like the 210 and the 220. All the guys on my lake that loved the 220 were begging for sets behind the 236. It has tons of room, a great surf wake, tons of storage, and best of all an awesome wakeboard wake that can be shaped with the hydrogate. I still agree with everyone on here that in 21 ft you cannot beat a 210

i dont like super air wakes, is it just me or do you guys agree? id rather ride behind a 210 air because the wake is alot wider. the super air wakes do get pretty huge, but theyre just too narrow for me.

The original SS nautique hull can't be beat. All the others have sadly flopped. Steve remembers how cool the pro air was, right? I have yet to ride a new model that I dig as much as the ones with the OG hull. Also, some of the old 2001s are sick. I remember '89 being a good year for those. On another note, the sanger v210 has a very similar shaped wake as the older nautique 210. This boat is a sleeper! Check it out. However, I am talking about the ride behind it, not in it.

Some of you may know Jeff Frew, he's on here as Tackleberry. He is also the owner of the most dialed 05(or 04) SAN 210. It may not be the largest(although close) but it is the perfect combo of thickness and vert. Many have ridden it and experienced its virtues. I think it's almost a karma thing, Jeff is the man.

I havent riden the new 210. But I sure like my 99 Super Air. The reason the old 210 is one of the best, is because you dont need to put too much additional wieght in it. I ride behind a lot of different boats and its my favorite. Seems like other boats you have to sack the S out of them to get a good wake. Plus I love that it doesnt eat much gas. I see a lot of people liking the 220. I heard it has problems washing out on one side. Is this not true?

OK, I should redirect. I'm in the majority here (and with my old neighbor Aaron - hope all is well!) that the OG Super Air was the bomb and by far the best wake I have ever ridden. I can't say I miss the No Air though! I've had an 00,01,02,03 Super Air (and an 07 220) so moving on, what NEW Nautique is your favorite? I'm trying to decide between another 220 or a 236 for the camp. I never did get the weight right on the 220 (except once) and I've talked to a pro buddy who swears the 236 is the best thing around (period) in his opinion (and he has access to anything he wants) but I haven't ridden it personally. My concern would be something that is the bomb for our instructors and myself, but can quickly dump weight for rookies. (We'll also have an 08 X Star.) What NEW Nautique does everyone like and if you care to elaborate, why? Thanks!

Out of the new ones you definitely want the 236 crossover or the 230 Air I just bought an o7 team edition 236 and love it. I used to have the 210 and loved it as well. All the guys I know that had 220's are upgrading to the 230 because of the better interior layout and more consistent wake. You don't have to weight the 236 as much as the 220 to get the wake monster size. Factory ballast fills or empties in three minutes. We have been riding mine with the factory tanks plus 440 on each side of the engine and 600 in the nose. I used to put that much weight in my 210. Keep in mind we only used this much for a photo shoot for my dealer and and we only had two people in the boat. The 230 or 236 (same hull) WILL NOT dissapoint

Make sure you get the ZR6 for this boat it is a beast. Mine still has the crossover prop and it is fine. If your camp lake is small you probably want the power prop. Good luck

I still really enjoy the 2001 hull with an '88-'89 dashboard and interiour. Our 2006 210 is the favourite 210 and Nautique I ever owned. I love the wake, it's perfect out-of the box. The boat doesn't need any weight and doesn't take a gazilion gallons of fuel every day. But now looking to a 220 or 230. The only drawback to the oldskool 210 is the interiour space. I'm curious how does wakes are, but I like the boats already from the in- and outside. Now only the wake...

Well it was the 95-06 210. I have a 1986 Ski Nautique 2001 and a 2001 Super Air. Those were my favorites... ...until the 230/236 came out. Now I rate the 230 as the top boat in production. #2, the Malibu 247, #3, the MasterCraft CSX, #4 The Super Air Nautique 220, #5 The MasterCraft X45. I talk a big game when it comes to ever really switching brands. I'm definitely a CC guy. But I am serious about the 247 and the CSX being in my top 3. But the 230... holy frijoles. So expensive but the resale on 220's and even some 236's has been awe-inspiringly low. I am already seeing 220's go in the high 40's. So - barring some kind of sponsorship or insane situation from some other manufacturer, the 230 will be my next boat, probably in 2010. Maybe a year earlier. Also - can we instate a ban on the term "meaty" as it applies to wakes. Maybe have those red asterices or dots could appear whenever someone types that in? Just an idea. I learned something today that might be helpful to others looking at a new Nauti. I just spoke with my contact at Correct Craft and was told the new 210 is nearly identical to the old 210 with 2 notable exceptions. They added the plates, and they made the hull slightly different to avoid the deeper trough, of which the old 210 was known for so some will be disappointed. So as I understand it, it is the same great boat, with an easier transition to the boot. Anyone that was happy with the old super air, I would think would be happy with a new 210, especially if you didn't want a bigger boat such as a 230 or 236 and the transition was too much for you in the past. Knowing that, it makes me consider the new 210 cause that boat rocked. Hope that helps anyone else shopping.

Interesting your contact would say that... 2006 210 Length w/out Platform = 21.2 Beam = 91 2008 210 Length w/out Platform = 21.0 Beam = 98

Yeah what you said is true and also there are some changes from 07 to 08 as far as the interior goes. I think that the "new" 210 will do better in 08 than it did in 07. They basically took out that odd hump that the engine compartment made on the 210,(the 220 has this also), and made it so the back seat is just a strait bench. I think that the 220 was so popular because people would look to the interior and see that the 220 was roomier and that they were gonna get another foot of boat for just a few more thousand. People who actually demoed both boats would have noticed that the wake on the 210 is a lot less sensitive than the 220 and that the 210 handles slightly better. I think that now that there is a distiguishable difference between the 2 and the layout of the 08 210 is better that the 210 will out sell the 220. Just my opinion though. I also hope that the 230/236 do better this year. I know that some of the customers that we have went with a Mastercraft X-star instead of a Nautique simply because of the pickle fork front end on the boat. I'd have to say that all of the customers that did so were not core ridders though and were only concerned with the interior space and the "cool" looks of the boat. When I talked to some of these customers after the fact they didn't even know that the 236 existed and were disapointed to find out about Nautiques boat that could handle the family and friends. So I think that now that the word has gotten out on these boats that they will get some more attention in 08.
