tuneman made a post in this thread: tower doesnt fit in garage by 1.2" can I cut this?
BTW, the credit, for the over-center trick, goes to Greg S (roomservice). He's the one who showed me how to do it.

I should add that once you push the tower lower, the racks will press into your vinyl. So, have some towels standing by to act as a buffer.

Trust me, it will go lower. You have to push evenly on the hinged end of both of the folded billet uprights. Stand between them and face the rear of the boat. Push straight down with about 20 pounds of force. Did it a million times on my 2009 ...

It doesn't have the auto trim tab and I may add it, but that's a very low priority. I'm a regular side surfer, and all my friends are. So I should be able to manually dial it in and forget it for now.

Yep, 2005 Enzo SV230. Got 3k lbs of ballast and a new prop on order for it already. This week I'll order up a bimini and swap out all the rack forks for dual surf forks.

Congrats, Jay! I hope to at least get a ride in that beast this summer! I just got a new-to-me ride too. Hopefully gonna be here on Sunday.
