Couldn't help but think of that thread when we were out on Friday.

The surfing was great for us in Old River, the skating and wakeboarding was just ok in Vics.

Im gonna go with Isaac on this one boys...that is definitely Vics, the new surfing hot spot.everyone should go there, its right outta disco bay on the way to ski beach!!!!!!

Definitely Vics.

The first pic might be deceiving because the Vic Surfing Posse was actually headed the "wrong way" down the southernmost channel before they made their turn to run the "wrong way" up the northernmost channel.

Those big ovals were a very effective way of making sure that both sides of Vics had lots of boat rollers running down them.

There must have been idiots out everywhere Fri. There was a wakesurfer on the actual Vics..as well as one idiot wakeboarder with NO spotter...doing power turns...AND going the wrong way on the north side of the channel. Unreal how stupid some people are.

I can not wait for it to get COLD, and get rid of all those idiots. Something about hard work and stupid people does not go together. Thank god.

that aint nuthin - last sat on vics sunset around 530-7 when it was mad hot and 0 - read it 0 wind - there was at least 4 surfers!!!!!
SOOOOOO awesome to have the most perfect conditions - but have your boat bouncing up and down the ENTIRE WAY down Vics...
