Kara,

I would recommend places like Boardersmall.com or Evogear.com
For example:

http://boardersmall.com/xcart/home.php?cat=471

This is a great place to look for good deals. The '07 CWB women's bindings rock...and cost $100...crazy deals. Also bunches of boards there. If you see some you like, post up to ask about people's feelings on how they ride. Of course, it's best to demo...but in reality that is often difficult to do.

welcome to the family, Kara. Did you check the classifieds on here? I know some guys there are trying to get rid of their '08 gear for a good price. There is a pretty good list right at your fingertips.

Start a thread and ask about local shops where you can get a board and gear. They need your business!

I just talked my sister into buying her own setup instead of my old one and she just picked up a full setup from Wake'N'Skate for 300 bucks. 08 LTD Melissa board and 08 Wing OT Bindings. Wasn't a combo deal, but that's what it cost total.

I have bought gear from both evogear and the-house several times and both have been great.
