PWCs getting crazy advanced in technology

I'm sure this will turn into a great debate but check out what Sea-Doo has just done with Fox Racing.

Yeah thats right, Sea Doo's will now have suspension.

In my opinion, this will only further add to a large number of "poor" riders by filling their brains with the idea that they can now handle rougher conditions and can hence, do crazier things. At the same time, it is a neat idea but as a wakeboarder, I can only cringe.

I am not bashing the responsible PWC owners/riders so please don't take it that way.

I don't know about that, but I think that braking system is pretty cool.

I can't help but think the braking system will also lead to a similar false feeling.

Again, it's a step in the right direction.

I'm in for the suspension, took a long PWC ride in Powell through rough water and was really hating it on the way back. The braking system is perfect but you can see it now with some jack hole coming into the shore and pulls the lever but ends up driving it upon shore! Both great idea's for the PWC industry.

Starting at 16,499!!! Seems a bit steep for a PWC. You can buy a boat for that

I just watched all the vids for all their "intelligent..." and it has cruise controll ("inteligent throttle controll" iTC) on it too. really nice for those wakeboarders and wakeskaters using PWCs

suspension looks similar to a snowmobile suspension, anyone else notice that?

Pretty neat concepts in my opinion...
