Any of you guys able to give me a tip where to put about 1000 lbs of lead? Trying to tweak the wake. Should it be in the back or center or front? I have the back and center ballast but trying to find the right spot for the extra lead.

they like it in the nose dude. i ran mine with stock ballast and a 750 shoved all the up in the nose and vdrive sacs in the rear. i would say if you just want to work with that extra 1000 and no more. 500 of it should be from the helm forward and the rest in the lockers. personally i would that 1000 of lead in the rear spread out evenly and drop a 750 in the walkway. wake would be kickin.

mess with it, more up front will mke lippy and more in the rear will make it rampy but what most will tell you is alot of it needs to be forward.

if you go with 60/40 you'll be good. 60% in the front and 40% in the rear

I do mine with 900 up front (Center Ballast) and 800 (400x2) in the back and it throws a mean wake. Maybe throw some under the center ballast and a few under the front bow seat then split up the rest between the 2 lockers. Then get yourself a new prop. I went up to the Acme 653 and it increased hole shot a ton.

We've been running an 1100# triangle mostly filled in the bow plus stock and 400# "V-Drive" sacks in each of the rear lockers. (I should just take out the hard tanks and add 750's in the rear) You don't have to fill them up but it's nice to have in the corner if you want to surf.

I'd put about 600#'s in the nose and divide the other 400 between the two lockers.

Gonna have to get a 911 prop though, makes a world of difference.

Jess with your experience of the 215 & the 237 do you prefer the 215 wake?

I've spent more time on the 215 but one of the main differences I'd say is the 237 has a wider wake. The hulls are actually the exact same except the obvious, ones 21'6 with a 96" beam and the others 23'6 with a 102" beam. Both have a really nice kick at the top and both are one of the hardest (as in solid feeling) wake's I've hit.

Oh, and both love that nose weight, more so then any other boat I've riden.

By the way Darren sweet profile pick...

Oh and the surf wake behind the 237 is prob. one of the best on the market, and it surfs well on both sides. So does the 215 but the 237's surf wake is a bit bigger.

Bryan, you have that backwards. More up front will take away the lip and make it rampy and more rear will put the lip back in...
