How long does it take for those of you with X1s to fill your rear tanks? I have an 07, and I have to cycle the pumps 3 times before they are full(turn the switch off and on). Also, one pump appears to be stronger than the other. Is this normal or do I have a problem?

I don't understand why they didn't keep the old fashioned way of timing it: when the water pours out the side, they're full...

maybe to keep from burning impellers?

That must be new for the 07s. I have a 2006 and mine don't have timers.

I think it was new for 07. They run for a while and then the lights start flashing to tell you the pumps are off and presumable the tanks are full, but they arn't. Then you run through the cycle two more times before water starts coming out the sides. Maybe it is set to the time it takes to empty the pumps. That way it would be protecting the impellers from burning out.

It also has the note about running the enigne at 1,000 rpms if you are running the pumps, very annoying.
