I am looking at a 99 205v. Think its reasonably priced but not sure what engine this is. Any opinions on the boat? It has less than 200 hours which makes me nervous. Upload

PS - I know its the same as the OG X-star/x2/x1. Its not wrap around seating but do you think low$20's is a reasonable price?

Engine looks pretty clean. Does it have a trailer, built in ballast, tower, PP custom cover? Even if it doesn't have that stuff but is in really good shape I think it is a solid deal at 20-22.

It has a tandem axle trailer, snap on cover and travel cover, speakers (bose - he is really proud of that, made me smile) and tower. No pp or built in ballast. He is throwing in a few boards, jackets, skis, etc. Looking at probably 23k.

It does have this odd tank that fits underneath the teak deck that is supposed ballast. First time I have ever seen one.

Thanks again!

look for gel coat cracks around the swim platform brackets . that tank is a wake tank added 1,000 lbs to the platform they don't make them anymore i have seen cracks on the boat from the tank being to heavy for the brackets

Also, I just read a post that states that the 99 205v has inferior carpet and vinyl than later years? Can anyone comment on this? Is it the same quality wise as the prior dd versions?
