Anyone ride these lakes lately? trying to plan a short trip. Water levels, smokey air from all the fires?

Thanks

as of today at bullards the smoke is all clear and the water level is fine. We were actually able to see a small meteor shower last night.

Have fun

I was at Englebright on the 4th. Water was down a few feet, but looked pretty typical for Englebright. No temp readings but it wasn't bad near the dam, but gets noticeably colder "up stream". Smoke was clear then, but things change quickly. I actually read in the local paper that they forecasted more smoke ater the 4th due to back fires being started to burn out fuel. Not sure where that was or for how long. The 5th and 6th were a bit smoky, but nothing that would keep me off the water. Good luck

NICE!!! Thanks for the info.

Taylor, the meteor shower must have been a cool sight to see!

Another question I just rememberd....How are the mosquitos (the flying kind, not jet skis)

for camping the mosquitoes are definitely out in force, but a camp fire and spray does the trick.

did i mention the water temp at bullards is between 80-85, its great.

heres a pic from last night. And when i say its not smokey, thats compared to the last 3 weeks and compared to everywhere else. Its still hazey but nowhere near whats its been. But with the paradise fire raging an hour away more smoke may come.
