What are some things that you have seen at wakeboard events that were very interesting our something you would want to be a part of or be very good at? Example.. Highest Ollie, Biggest trick w/ crash, best dresses, ect. What is your unknown talent that makes you different from other wakeboarders?

Shapiro landed in the flats one year at boardstock and plowed right into the redbull pyramid. I tried not to laugh, but it was funny.

Parks went off the ski jump and did a sailor's dive the first year I went to the Masters. He was disqualified for it.

I was thinking more of what what you do at a event that would be fun... instead of having a just a normal competition... like judging you on your tricks. Just a comp that has fun stuff... if that makes sense

Straight up slider jam pulled by a winch. The rotation of the riders is quicker and it's more interesting for the viewers because they can be up close to the action.

Because funny things tend to just happen I'll mention a good one from a comp I attended in Virginia. One of the smart ass shop guys thought it would be funny to use the binding shave cream in his hair to make a foam-hawk, he got a good lather but ate it on his dock start. Then the shaving cream began to run into his eyes, he was screaming and flailing while blinded 10 feet from the dock, it was hilarious!

It's always fun to have horseshoes or limbo contests. Last comp I went to had a climbing wall and a skate demo, it was sweet. Also a good announcer that can call tricks and talk random for hours is extremely beneficial.

Sweet... be funny to make that the goal.. do your whole run with out making the cream fall off! Or something make a course with those floater markers. That would be rad... Should do something like making a team comp... like you make 3 guys a team and do a activity were you have to wakeboard with 3 guys and make it as interesting as possible or something... make a show. Might be dangerous though.

This kid riding by himself in Men's novice rocked Shawna Hoffmans Pink CWB board, Pink CWB Vest, Pink Proline Rope, etc. I thought that was funny. I like the best crash award!

What is a Sailors Dive?

A form of a dive in which your body is erect and your hands by your side and you dive in to water head first.

I would think a sailor's dive from about 20 feet up strapped into a board would hurt pretty bad, but Parks really sold it. There was a sequence in one of the mags the next month. I think a slider comp set up like a game of "horse" could be interesting.

parks at the masters was funny but he wasn't banned because the following year he was there and got mad when the boat wouldn't pick him up at the end of the course and threw his board at it every time it came by after that.

I think Parks and Danny and a few other then Hyperlite riders were DQ'd the year following the ski jump incidents because of their conduct at the rider's meeting the night before.
