I know I've seen some threads of people doing this and was wondering how easy it is? Or hard? I want to add some bags but I don't know if I want the hassle of messing with the pumps.

You can set it up to overflow from your factory ballast into your additional ballast, and drain the same way. No need for more pumps then.

Dave, why the ball valve?

Looks pretty simple. Looks like I'll have the same setup as Dave. I'm also wondering what the ball valve is for? and also the pvc for the sac? What would the parts list be if I buy the fly high v-drive sacs? Are they a good fit to integrate into the system?

Ball Valve is so it does weep/syphon out the vent. In the 211 the sac sits higher than the water line.

PVC keeps a space in the bag for venting so it doesn't create a suction when draining. As the bag empties it collapses on itself and prevents a vent (the PVC creates enough space to keep this from happening). You'll collapse the hard tank with the suction the pump creates.

There are other ways to keep it vented. I went with this because it's simple and inexpensive.
