Was out yesterday, I have a 99 Maristar, noticed the voltage gauge was not working at all....everything ran fine, anchored for a while listened to tunes, had no problems....does anyone think the gauge is bad or alternator done?

Wire loose for the guage.

If you actually had zero volts the boat wouldn't run.

The problem would be either a bad gauge or the wiring to the gauge.
