I had these hooked up in the past, but disconnected them because it seemed like the wires were heating up. I decided to go with bigger wires transitioned from the ends of the mfg wires. I now have 10 guage going to the battery (neg and pos) and 14 guage to the switch on the dash.

The switch is the one used for the heater (if installed), but I don't have one and was told I could use that.

Now, whenever I hook the pos & neg to the battery and the switch is off, the 4 lights on the back of the bar come on. If I leave it hooked up like that and turn the switch on, the front two come on as well.

Do I have a short? They didn't work like that before. Before, it was all or nothing when I turned the switch on.

Does anyone have a manual for these? I emailed fusion, so hoping to hear back from them or someone on here that can help.

Thanks!
Keith

yoru heater switch is likely on and you dont'; know it, most heater switches have 2 "ons...a high and a low. and when it's flipped int eh middle it is off. . you haev it hooked up correctly. what do you want it to do? RE-wire it at the switch.
