I think he's referring to the fact that the actual price you will pay for one is nearly double the NADA value.

demand > supply

A boat is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Yea, that's what I am referring to. Is the Ski Nautique that much better than the other 80 model boats?

There are not enough boats sold for NADA to have meaningful stastics. They have a mathematical curve, not a survey as with automobiles. The numbers do not reflect supply/demand or build quality in any way. The depreciation curve is the same for a CC as for a Moomba in NADA. The actual selling price at any particular point in the life of the boat is very different between the two.

NADA is OK for Sea Rays, etc. It does not reflect value for inboards.
