steering cable installation issues, please help!!

So I am installing my new steering cable and cannot for the life of me unscrew the old cable from the support tube. Is there a secret to this? does anyone know if I can order a new support tube? please help, thanks

i will just update this myself, it is 1:40 am here and I just got it installed myself. Just needed some kroil and time on the connection to get it apart, YAY for easy steering!!!!
