I was coming down on a hs fs 3 i was taking big, I've had these down for about a month now, and sketched out of the front, dug the nose in and my head hit, and my ear drum got a high five from the water. Which tore it. Not cool. How long do you guys think before i get to charge it again?

I have had 3 ruptured ear drums. I just keep them dry & clean. No riding for at least 2 or 3 weeks. If you do use ear plugs so as to not get an infection. To be ultra safe get antibiotics from a doctor. I never went but just stayed out of the water. It sucks because it will drain at night while you sleep and more than likely ruin a few pillow cases.

yeah, I already saw one doc. and I'm going to an ENT guy tomorrow. From the sounds of it, I broke it the best way possible for an easy recovery, i kind of turned it into a doggy door.

Happened to one of my friends learning for the first time two days ago. He caught edge and smacked the side of his face on the water. I dont think he wants to wakeboard ever again.

Play it safe, don't f - it up you'll regret it.(3 weeks)

Then wear ear plugs for the rest of the season until you forget what the pain felt like

wear a helmet and never tear it again. I blew mine 3 times before I figured it out. Its funny how I always got what I deserved before I started wearing a helmet, now I haven't had a fall that has ended my run in over 2 years.

Get plugs.. I blew out my left ear twice last year and my right once and I still have a hole in my right ear drum and I'm awaiting surgery which should happen before or after Christmas. I'm expected to be out for at least 2 weeks

Doc's pro plugs are great. They are vented so you can still hear. Saved my left ear from an edge crash last weekend for sure. I like the plugs better than a helmet.

I went to an ENT today, and he said it's only a pin hole puncture I'm good to ride with plugs in a few days! (And a sweat band to hold them in) Where can i find docs pro plugs?
