Did you do a DIY writeup for the walkthrough windscreen that you made?

whats left out is the template I made out of cardboard. Use cardboard or construction paper to make your plastic template. You can also use cardboard to find out the angle you want the top of the windblock bent. Tap plastic's cut and bent the plastic for my windblock. I think it was around $60 for the plastic. and around $50 for the Malibu tracks the plastic slides in

I followed Grant and others lead and used cardboard as a template then got some thin plexiglass from Home Depot and cut it myself. Put an X-Star, etc sticker on it and everyone will just look at the sticker. It looks good, costs you like $5, and works great. I use mine all the time, except in the summer. But you might even use it for a summertime evening cruise. On my SS, I didn't even need tracks. It just sits on the floor, against the 2 sides, it's cut to be a tight fit and the wind holds it in place too. A great, functional addition to the boat.

Try the $5 solution first and see if it fits your needs. But I TOTALLY respect Grant for his bling solution. He don't do no $5 anything! :-)

Todd: I stoe my'n away under the gunnal. It sits there in its storage bag. I use it when it gets chilly. So it depends. I dont use it all the time but when you need it you will be glad you have one. You will be totaly suprised at how much cold air it stops flowing threw the boat.
Only takes a second to get out and throw in and problem fixed.
If you decide to make one you might want to think about where you can stoe it. If you are tight for space you might want to think about NOT putting the bend in the plexy. The bend at the top adds or take up a bit more space and makes it so you cant store it flat. On the Bu's they store the plexy window on the underside of the v-drve hatches with simmular tracks that go in the walk threw. It just slides in.
Collin: Hey what ever works. If you can do the same thing for - the bling for $5 its all good .

Make it out of canvas that matches your boat and use snaps. That's what I have in my boat! Works awesome!

I have the snap in one that is factory. Just wanted to add a bling factor to the rig.

Grant...im surprised you havent went with a frosted piece of plexi, and put led's in your track so it will stay nice and lit up at night.
